2012 Time Table Now Here! Check out our NEW 2012 Time Table. We have new classes and new times available. We also have new Womens Boxing and X-Fit Classes. The Academy is now open from 9am Monday to Friday and we have classes at 9.30am and have added more lunch time classes. If you never got to try our smoothies in our old facility, then you will soon get the chance. They are low in fat, taste great and are the ultimate meal replacement. The menu and prices will be posted before it opens and it will have it's own Facebook Page with deals, nutrition advice and more. Keep your eye out for this! We are now in a bigger, better location then our last Gym that used to be situated on Princes Street.
Our new location is across the road from Sports Otago and The Warehouse, in The South Pacific House, Level 1, 167 High Street, Dunedin, 9016.
We opened the Academy in the new facility in 2010 and it has never been busier. Come down and check it out!
Why Choose Our Academy Over Other Gyms?
We offer what other Gyms in Dunedin cannot. We are an Academy, an institute of learning. You will get fit, toned, build muscle while you learn a sport, a self defense art form, as well as get the opportunity to compete if you wish under some of the best trainers and coaches in New Zealand and from around the world. Gracie Jiu Jitsu at the Academy!
Gracie Jiu Jitsu (RGJJ)
The Academy's Brazilain Jiu Jitsu School is now run under the tutelage and instruction of the legendary, Royler Gracie.
This is an official Royler Gracie Academy that teaches RGJJ (Royler Gracie Jiu Jitsu) under the instructional direction of Royler Gracie and classes are run by the Academy's Head Coach, Ryan Henry.
What Does This mean?
This means that we are able to give New Zealanders and Dunedin people the opportunity to learn under one of the greatest Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners in the world, who's father helped develop what is now known as Gracie Jiu Jitsu. You will work with other sister Academy's under Royler Gracie such as Gracie Sydney, which is run and directed by Bruno Panno. To learn more about Gracie Sydney click on the following website.
